The Referral Rewards and Sign On Bonus work under the Following Terms and Conditions.
Referral Rewards
Definitions:
“Member”: A registered user of Wiestep.com
“Applicant”: Any member who applies for a job opportunity through Wisestep.com
“Job Opportunity”: Any openings or jobs posted on Wisestep.com
“Advertiser” : An individual, representative, employee, personnel or directors of companies that post jobs on Wisestep.com
“Employer” : Any individual, representative, employee, personnel or directors of companies that make offers of employment to applicants through Wisestep.com
- A member (Referrer) must refer another member or a non member (Applicant) to a job opportunity through Wisestep.com
- The Applicant must be a member or become a member of Wisestep.com to apply for the referred job opportunity
- The Applicant must apply for the Job opportunity through Wisestep.com and through the job invite link sent by the referrer within 30 days of the invite. If the Applicant applies after 30 days of the invite, or directly from wisestep.com without using the invite link of the Referrer, the Referrer is not eligible for the Referral Reward.
- The Applicant must then be selected for the Job and be made a job offer by the advertiser or the employer of this Job opportunity
- The Applicant must accept the Job Offer and Join the Employer’s organisation.
- The Applicant must meet criteria specified by the Employer’s organisation (example: completing probation/ meeting milestones etc.) These may differ from employer to employer and are usually specified by the employer
- Wisestep.com will invoice the Advertiser of the job for the Referral Reward once the criteria specified by the Employer’s organisation are met. This process usually takes about 3 months from the time the Applicant accepts and joins the Employer.
- All Referral Rewards are paid out by Check or Wire Transfer or any other direct bank account to bank account transaction. Transaction fees may apply as appropriate. Request for Cash Payments WILL be denied.
- All Referral Rewards will be paid only to the Referrer. Payments will not be made (by Cheque or Wire transfer) in ANY OTHER name.
- Only some Referral Rewards are guaranteed to be paid by the advertiser of the Job. The ones that are guaranteed will clearly be specified on the Job Details page. In other cases, the payment of the Referral Rewards is the responsibility of the Advertiser or the Employer of the respective Job opportunity. If Wisestep.com is unable to collect the Referral Rewards from the Advertiser or the employer it is under no obligation to pay the Referral Rewards.
- In some cases the Employer or advertiser may specify that the applicant’s profile has been received by them through another channel (job boards, agency etc.) In such a case the REFERRAL Amount is NOT PAID OUT by the employer or advertiser. Wisestep.com will make efforts to inform the Referrer and the Applicant of this at the earliest possible time.
- Wisestep.com will deduct 20% net of taxes of the Sign on Bonus Amount as its fee before paying out the Referral Reward to the Applicant
Sign On Bonus
- The Sign on Bonus is paid out to the Applicant if s/he gets an offer from the Advertiser or the Employer of the Job opportunity. The Applicant needs to meet certain criteria specified by the Employer before this Sign On bonus is paid out (example – completing probation, meeting certain milestones etc.). These may differ from employer to employer.
- To be eligible for the Sign on Bonus the applicant MUST have applied to the job opportunity through Wisestep.com.
- If the profile of the Applicant has already been received by the Employer or the advertiser of this job opportunity from another Source (like job boards, staffing agencies) then the Sign on Bonus is NOT payable. Wisestep.com will make efforts to inform the Applicant of this at the earliest possible stage.
- The Sign on Bonus is not a guaranteed reward unless otherwise specified on the job details page.
- Once the Applicant becomes eligible for the sign on bonus, Wisestep.com will invoice the Advertiser or the Employer Organisation for the Sign on Bonus Amount. The Sign on Bonus will be paid out only if Wisestep.com is able to invoice and collect these from the Advertiser or the Employer.
- Wisestep.com will deduct 20% net of taxes of the Sign on Bonus Amount as its fee before paying out the Sign on Bonus to the Applicant
