Job Description
The company is looking for a Sales/ Business leader from the industry for spearheading it’s “Americas Operations (USA and LATAM). This is a leadership position.
The above high-profile position presents significant opportunity for growth and interaction throughout the broader and global mobile business. The company is looking for an energetic and creative sales/ Biz leader who can help establish operations for the company in North and South Americas, and take our business to new levels – will effectively participate in value creation. The position reports into the CEO.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for P&L for the Americas and operator relationships. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and leading the annual operating plans for USA and LATAM.
2. On Ground sales , marketing and customer support leadership deployment for the geographies/ markets
3. Formulating sales and leadership plans and leading the deployment of the same
4. Managing the execution of Mobile VAS strategy encompassing Mobile Advertising, D2C and Mobile Payments business
The above will require:
• Recruitment of key sales people and building/ developing the org for the same
• Provide market understanding and analyses, identification and strategy regarding new product and service integrations.
• Fostering alliances and partnerships with operators, select partners and vendors.
• Deliver actionable go to market plans that efficiently leverage all elements of the marketing mix across all channels while managing and optimizing budget.
• Communicating, leading through influence, cross-functional teamwork and strong analytical/ leadership skills are a must, as are the abilities to deal with complex and ambiguous situations while balancing multiple projects and deliverables across Americas
• SMS connectivity and associated content delivery
• Platform sales (applications that drive revenue, both bespoke and existing proprietary technology)
• Interactive Media formats (Broadcast Radio, Web, TV, Print)

Additional experience in following segments will be an advantage (although not essential)
• ISP and Internet
• Fixed and Mobile Telephony
• Data subscription services
• M/O and M/T billing
• Mobile marketing applications
• Associated emerging markets:- Interactive and Call Television

Requirements
• A responsible and proven self starter (account farmer with a track record of leading sales teams, delivering against targets, up-selling, cross-selling and delivering on customer retention)
• Should be accustomed to operating and multi-tasking within a start up environment, having been responsible for simultaneously managing and growing existing accounts of varying magnitudes; a comprehensive understanding and contact base including mobile data, telecoms and applications. Knowledge of local culture and business methodologies are essential along with commercial flair and a reputation for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Qualified candidates must be from the industry verticals with significant domain experience. MBA highly preferred. With at least 12-15 years of experience in product management, product/ category marketing, sales, operations and leadership exp with P&L responsibilities.
