Background
Responsibilities
Our Client is having its Captive Operation in India based out of Bangalore and is an organization of 3500+ people performs processing, IT development, production support, analytical and other activities in conjunction with various US businesses based in the US.
Business Analytics & Research (BA&R) provides 3 main capabilities: Investment Research & Analysis, Database Modeling & Marketing Sciences and Business Intelligence & Decision Support (BI&DS). This position is part of the BI&DS capability. BI&DS includes a range of capabilities from research and analysis to consulting and decision support.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supporting senior management of Client’s onshore businesses with primary market research expertise (research & questionnaire design, sampling, data analysis & reporting, insights generation) and developing subject-matter expertise across sectors, domains and functions, in which Fidelity operates
- Conducting analysis based on research data independently (with minimal supervision), by applying various statistical concepts/ techniques like multiple regression, factor, cluster analysis, etc with the help of tools like SPSS
- Participating in & actively providing inputs by interacting with Client's Senior Management
- Supervising & mentoring analysts on research concepts, deliverables & and quality, as & when required

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s and post-graduate qualification from top-tier institutions. MBA degree required.
- 1-4 years of relevant work experience in a research & insights role, either in an analytics function/ KPO of a MNC or with a reputed research agency
- Very sound knowledge of key analysis/ statistical concepts & hands on experience with tools like SPSS
- Meaningful experience in handling various kinds of research projects, client servicing, data interpretation & insights generation
- Prior Experience in financial services is also valued.

Skills/Knowledge
- Comfort/ exposure to either all or some of the various techniques of primary research such as customer satisfaction, segmentation, brand & advertising research, pricing & product related research
- Demonstrated analytical ability
- Flair for quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to process data to draw insights, answering “so what” questions about data
- Able to synthesize large volumes of data into comprehensible and insightful information
- Comfort with unstructured data and niche industries
- Comfort with making intelligent assumptions to estimate not-so-easily available data points
- Comfort with making conclusions based on limited data, as available
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfort with statistical tools like SPSS, SAS, etc
- High level of intellectual curiosity
- Professional attitude on service quality
- Attention to detail, especially in all aspects of report making from research to preparation of presentation and client interaction
- Strong work ethic in terms of time management, ownership of project and client’s objective
