The Art Gallery of NSW, with its stunning galleries and marble floors, provides one of Sydney's most elegant spaces for a memorable dining experience or special event.
Set in an impressive contemporary dining room, The Restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with magnificent views over Woolloomooloo and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales person to embrace the venue and sell what it has to offer.
This is a fantastic role for someone who would like to work within such a unique event space.
To be successful in this role, you will need;
- Proven experience in Event Sales - similar capacity & venue essential
- Be highly organised and motivated to deliver the results budgeted
- Have a creative outlook and embrace what the space has to offer
- The ability to deal with corporate clients as well as private clients
- A positive approach to business sales
- Solid food and beverage knowledge
- Operational background or understanding is an advantage
- Immaculate presentation for a prestigious 5 star venue
- Great attention to detail with the willingness to adapt to the client's needs.
- Willingness to take ownership and be present at particular events
This role is critical to the success of the Trippas White contract within the Art Gallery of NSW. Therefore we are looking for an outstanding individual to harness the client relationship and expand the current event business.
