Key Responsibilities
• Provide HR leadership and consultation to business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters impacting their business. Work collaboratively with business leaders and managers to provide innovative HR solutions, approaches, and value focused on driving the success of their business.
• Build ongoing relationships with business unit leaders and managers.
• Support and help implement strategy set by senior management team. Consult with, advice and assist managers in achieving business goals through appropriate interventions (e.g., change initiatives, people decisions, talent management and development, reward optimization, workforce planning, business diagnostics, productivity analyses, HR information and analysis, retention and engagement, employee communication, and HR programs and services).
• Provide advice and to counsel managers and employees on employee relations matters.
• Support organizational effectiveness through proper alignment of people, processes, structure and culture with business strategies. Participate in the establishment of BU plans to effectively communicate business strategies and objectives, and implement change initiatives designed to support those goals. Help align and integrate the strategic capabilities of the company's human resources with BU business plans.
• Help identify emerging human capital challenges within the BU and sponsor efforts to create improvement opportunities and effective solutions with business impact. Focus HR solutions on organizational outcomes and improve employee and organizational performance and productivity and delivers profit-impacting practices that achieve business results.
• Help implement and manage HR resource solutions, programs and services for the business unit or segment, in collaboration with Centers of Excellence (organizational development, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation/rewards, talent acquisition and workforce planning, diversity, and learning and development) to maximize the achievement of short and long-range business objectives.
The Selected candidate should be:
• 12+ years experience HR experience in generalist, business partner roles in Retail/ FMCG sector.
• Masters / in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration or related field required.
• Preference for experience in all HR functional areas, a strong emphasis in organizational effectiveness and leadership development, and experience working in an HR role with a shared service delivery.
