Java-Technical Consultant/Senior Technical Consultant
Location: Hyderabad
Business:Enterprise Application Software; Revenue Management
Description:A senior technical consultant is responsible for activities like, data loading, system installation, development of customizations, interface configuration and testing, and integration to 3rd party software. The Model N Life sciences solution is a transaction-based collaborative price management application, implemented in Java. We are looking for a technical consultant with experience working in a fast paced environment. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and test customizations and work closely together with Solution Architect on design changes and code reviews.
Should be able to drive technical deliverables from India working along-side of onshore team.
Create custom applications that support and enhance the Model N Life Sciences solution using Java, Oracle and Scripting languages.
Drive data loading efforts. Work with customer to explain format of data, help customer with mapping, analyze content, perform data loading, and report errors to customer.
Install Model N application internally as well as on customer site. Teach customer to become self sufficient in system installation and ongoing maintenance.
Drive interface enablement. Explain customer the standard Model N interface messages and formats. Assist customer with mapping and testing. Configure interface to customer requirements.
Provide consultation and support when needed to Professional Services Business Consultants and Solution Architects
Qualifications:
B.Tech (Computer Science) or equivalent experience
Must have 2-6 years industry experience
At least 1-3 years experience in server-side, real-time, transaction-based Java and Java/JDBC
Core Java and J2EE experience required.
Oracle PL/SQL experience required.
XML knowledge required.
JRUN or WebLogic experience required
Experience in object-oriented design/programming required
Java Application Server architecture knowledge and Java performance knowledge a plus
Strong spoken and written English skills. Consulting background is a plus.
Exposure to middle tier programming using Servlets is desired
Exposure to Eclipse IDE, Version control system
