Our clients R&D team is looking for an experienced developer to join a NEW INITIATIVE

the product is a complete front-end solution for the institutional asset manager. Our order management platform offers portfolio managers, traders and middle office professionals the modules they need to manage their business effectively. Users leverage the product's analytics, data and global network throughout the workflow of the system. Portfolio managers rely on our global product coverage, portfolio level analytics and pretrade Compliance Module.

Traders manage order flow with an integrated blotter, offering superior trade analytics and a global FIX network. Middle office professionals leverage the power of security master information and connectivity to ensure the timely processing and settlement of all global financial products.

The product is a significant new initiative which will integrate with AIM's current Middle Office and STP suite. A new team will be created to build the applications required, with green field development in a complex business domain - the team's focus will be on innovation and time-to-market. The role will require working closely with product managers (with some client interaction during specification) and subsequent product ownership. There are excellent opportunities to progress.


- Solid C/C++ development experience is essential, including STL and design patterns
- Must be able to demonstrate experience of full development life cycle
- Working knowledge of UNIX including scripting
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Finance experience not essential

Other desirable skills include:

- Exposure to Post Trade workflow
- Working knowledge of SWIFT
- Experience with MQ
