Responsibilities
This role seeks a full-time Systems and Database administrator. The individual would be responsible for the installation, administration & maintenance of the Linux production and development servers.
Responsibilities include:
1. MySQL Database administration
2. File systems, Data back up and disaster recovery for all servers (Web, Database and Application servers)
3. High-availability monitoring and alerting systems (MRTG / SNML experience)
4. OS updates, configuration changes, user management and access control
5. System & Database security as well as documenting the configuration of the system
6. Ensure high availability and maximum performance for database and application servers, given budgetary constraints.
