Background
A Specialised Financial Services and Technology Company
Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to support and administer:
• The company's in house receivables management system
• SalesForce.com
• Desktop IT systems.
This involves 1st and 2nd line support. 3rd line support handled by external suppliers so accurate communication and good rapport with them is essential.

1st /2nd line support of in-house receivables management system.
• Mostly manipulating data using SQL Server Management studio.
• Simple admin: Adding users, restarting services and batch jobs

Creation of SQL scripts and stored procedures.
Create and amend reports in SFDC (Salesforcedotcom)

Provide onsite support for all office hardware(laptops, desktops, printers, wireless etc)
Provide phone/e-mail support to staff in other offices
Domain support; creating users accounts, folders, permissions etc

Administration of Microsoft Exchange
Administration of the AD
User level administration of IIS ftp users and security


Admin
• Keep support documents and support database up to date.
• Write new procedures after encountering a new problem.


Experience

• Fluent in T-SQL.
• 2+ years experience of administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
• 2+ years experience of administration of Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Some experience of administration of IIS and Active Directory.
• General technology problem solving skills to a high level.
• Knowledge of other scripting / development languages is useful.
• Experience of SalesForce.com is useful.
• Experience of liaising with external software and IT services suppliers beneficial.
• Italian speaker would be an advantage

• Good organisation and project management skills to co-ordinate and prioritise act
