Responsibilities
Job Description: A technical architect with our client is expected to map high level architectural ambiguity driven by product roadmaps to software designs resulting in highly scaleable products that will be implemented with large financial institutions around the world.


REQUIRED

Experience: 10 + years

Work Experience:
Minimum 7 years of IT experience
3+ years of experience in architecture and design
Experience of handling team of QA

Academics:
Graduate in any discipline, preferably BE

Technical skills:
Requirements capture and analysis experience
Knowledge of large architectures
Software design skills through the use of UML
Sound understanding of design patterns and their applications
Rapid prototyping of technologies predominantly based on the J2EE stack
Well versed with RDBMS products
Testing
Sound knowledge of the software delivery methodologies and supporting tooling

Tooling and products:
UML design tools such as Rational, Togethersoft etc
Application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss
Database servers - Oracle 9.x, MS SQL 2000 etc
Unit testing - JUnit

GENERAL
Trainer, mentor to junior technical employees
Excellent project leading skills
Excellent communication both verbal and written skills
Readiness to work in a multi cultural environment
