Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Overview

• The candidate will be a senior member of the India technology team with broad ranging responsibilities from managing application development to strengthening team capabilities
• Will be a key face of Tech team to users, partners and management and will define the unit’s perception among the stakeholders
• Will be responsible for bringing innovation and change to the way the team conducts its day-to-day tasks
• Will work with the senior members of the team to set the direction of the technology platform for the firm at the same time coach junior members of the team to help build their skills

Technical

• The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of a robust and scalable technology platform for supporting the company India Wealth Management business.
• Will manage a team of engineers, developers and vendors to handle design and implementation of various front-office and back-office applications application components.
• Applications are primarily built on Microsoft technologies-.NET, C#, VB, ASP, etc. has both client/server and web-based front-ends and utilize SQL server database as back-end

Functional / Process

• The candidate will be responsible for driving functional enhancements to the existing platform components as well as build new components where necessary.
• Will define operational processes for day-to-day running of the platform and transfer ownership of such processes to the correct operational group
• Will manage expectations of all stakeholders in terms of delivery timelines, project costs and quality.


The Selected candidate should be:

• 10-17 years work experience


Technical

• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise systems supporting financial services business
• Extensive Knowledge on various about web and client-server technologies such as .NET, IIS, XML, Web Services, MSMQ, SSIS, SSRS, etc.
